Dynamo Camp supports the right to happiness of children with serious or chronic pathologies.
Dynamo Camp Onlus Association offers free specific Recreational Therapy programs to children and adolescents suffering from chronic diseases, in therapy or in the post-hospitalization period, to healthy siblings and their families.
It is located in Limestre in the province of Pistoia, in an oasis of over 900 hectares affiliated with WWF, Oasi Dynamo, and is part of SeriousFun Children’s Network: association of camp founded in 1988 by Paul Newman and active throughout the world.
The activities take place at the Dynamo Camp facility, in Limestre, in the province of Pistoia, and through the Dynamo Programs project in hospitals, pathology associations and family homes in the national territory.
The aim is to restore confidence in children and their abilities to sick children and improve the quality of life of their families. The structure and medical assistance guarantee a protected environment, in which to socialize and experiment important tools to better face life, focusing on one’s own abilities and not on disabilities determined by the pathology.
is located in a WWF-affiliated oasis of over 900 hectares in the province of Pistoia: Oasi Dynamo. The preappennine environment straddling the watershed line between the Tyrrhenian Sea and the Adriatic makes it a place with favorable environmental characteristics. Furthermore, the activity promoted makes Oasi a unique case of synergy between conservation, environmental use and social activism.
